Welcome to My Musings-

I am a 60-something middle school principal desperately hoping to retire and paint, write, walk, breathe, laugh, read, commune, garden ( just a little) stretch, exhale, travel, eat and drink wine and up my yoga game. I started this sight five years ago and ever published a thing. I have been paying for it for 5 years- not particularly fiscally responsible- I know. Why on Memorial Day 2025 have I decided to publish something? Maybe it is the onset of black flies swarming my face when I walk outside? Maybe it is my extremely sore back and knees who are begging for an excuse not to stack wood? Maybe it is my total frustration at the state of the country?

I have not answers- but many opinions. I am not inclined to share them all or even a few today- but I thought putting myself out there was a good first step.
